Impressive parade

AS a former officer in the Royal Ulster Rifles, now known as the Royal Irish Regiment, I was most impressed with the appearance and drill of the soldiers on parade in Oxford last week. I was proud of them.

Congratulations also to the staff of the firm of undertakers who bring back our fallen soldiers.

They have been duly recognised by the award of the campaign medals for Afghanistan and Iraq. Well done to all concerned.
