THANKS to all the wonderful staff at the John Radcliffe Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Section B, for the great care, attention and understanding shown to my partner, Brian Knight. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Despite their best efforts, sadly Brian passed away on October 3.
I would like to thank all neighbours, friends and previous workmates who attended his funeral for their support and understanding and for their donations to Brian’s favourite charity, the Oxford Animal Sanctuary and the Osler Chest Unit.
My heartfelt thanks to the funeral director, Nigel Carter, for his sincere kindness and the wonderful service he constructed, making happy moments out of the sad loss of Brian.
Last, and not least, I would like thank the caterers who put on a marvellous spread for the reception at the Cowley Workers Social Club – they truly did us proud.
