Healthy dairy farming

I WOULD like to comment on the letter from Kate Fowler (Time to boycott milk, August 31).I am not a dairy farmer but know people who are and I have never seen cows confined in filth and squalor as K Fowler states.

Indeed in this part of the country the fields are full of healthy cows.

Ms Fowler suggests it is time to boycott milk, I suggest it is time to boycott the woolly-headed minority who insist on trying to instil their mad ideas on the majority of the population.
