OPPOSITE Long Hanborough railway station, commuters have to park on the grass verge alongside Hanborough Road, because of a lack of parking spaces.
But don’t worry folks, Oxfordshire County Council is set to fence off the unused verge – which will solve the commuters’ problems... I don’t think.
Said council are making cuts left, right and centre so it’s puzzling why fencing off a grass verge, takes priority and is more important than caring for the elderly.
It seems the fence comes first in their eyes.
