THE Oxfordshire ACF/ Corps of Drums were among 30 musical detachments to attend the six day National Cadet Music Concentration held at Altcar Camp, near Southport, during the Easter holidays.

Cadets of all standards attended, from beginners to highly skilled musicians and drummers. And it was not just music – the cadets also took part in shooting, on an electronic target range, archery, swimming and sports competitions.

As part of their Cadet and the Community work, a concert was given at a retirement home.

Cdt Sgt N Robinson Oxfordshire ACF was appointed Bugle Major and was presented with his belt on the final parade, by Lt Colonel David Stuart.

We are very proud of Sgt Robinson and all the other cadets from the Oxfordshire ACF, who had a great time at camp.

Anyone interested in joining the Army Cadet Force can obtain further details from armycadets.com or by visiting their local detachment.
