I WAS reading the leader column (Oxford Mail, March 3) relating to the issue of gender neutral uniforms and wondered if you could explain to me how, as you put it, ‘the differences endowed upon them (boys and girls) by nature’ has any relevance to whether they wear trousers or skirts to school?
When you say ‘boys are different to girls’ can you explain what you think it is about someone whose sex is classed as male or female which means that they are better off wearing trousers or skirts to school?
