WE NEED another referendum – yes, but not THAT one!

We need to ask the people of this country if they’re prepared to pay an extra penny on basic income tax to enable us to fund the police service, the NHS, and the fire service properly.

The NHS, since 1975, has had a year-on-year increase, despite what we hear from politicians, but the expectations of what it can provide have grown out of all proportion.

It is there to care for us if ill, help us to recover, and educate us how to stay healthy in the future.

What it’s not here for is to allow three rounds of IVF, breast enhancement, and liposuction.

We will all use the NHS in our lifetime so we all have a responsibility to stay healthy and take the pressure off the NHS.

There is cross-party agreement on this so let’s stop party Punch and Judy politics and put a serious question to the nation.
