THE councils are cutting back on everything except their wages and pension pots. The latest thing to disappear it would seem, are the bottle recycling bins, despite searching, none are evident in Didcot.

It would appear that a resident of North Moreton had every intention of recycling their bottles at Tesco but, unable to dump them in a recycling bin, decided to stop their car and deposit them in the grass by the side of the road at the entrance to the village instead of taking them home.

What is wrong with these selfish morons who care nothing about the environment in which they live?

Schoolchildren drop the wrappers from their chocolate bars as soon as they have eaten the contents, likewise with their plastic pop bottles, so it would appear that this selfish attitude begins in childhood.

I picked up the empty bottles and correctly disposed of them as I for one care for the environment. It appears there are many who do not.
