I HAVE written a poem on the dangers of using a mobile phone whilst driving.
WHY
Somewhere still it seems the stillness is interrupted by the sound of persistent ringing.
No one answered now.
For in a second of a heartbeat life has stopped.
Sounds of sirens break the silence of this long night where in the twisted wreckage another life has ended.
A mobile phone lies nearby no longer ringing or needed because driving and a mobile phone is an accident waiting to happen.
Now another loved one is never going home.
