POST referendum now is the time for calm and level-headed analysis.

Every cloud has a silver lining and I am confident that in time our country will stabilise.

Already there is some good news on the horizon as the white elephant nuclear power station, Hinkley Point, is likely to be shelved.

Dubbed the most expensive and least economic power station in the entire world, it relied on French energy firm, EDF, and now looks certain to be scrapped.

This may have a knock-on effect leading to the shelving of Sizewell nuclear power station.

I am sure that a lot of environmentalists will welcome this news as it paves the way for more green energy in the UK.

We can also avoid the numerous environmental and commercial pitfalls of TTIP if we do leave the EU.

I hope that we do remain part of the EU but if we must leave then let us look at all the pluses and move to a hopeful and greener future.
