Firstly, many congratulations to elected Labour councillors on Thursday.
Secondly, I read in Friday’s Oxford Mail, the elected police and crime commissioner commented that it was a very good-run campaign.
I had to go on to Google to find out who the PCC candidates were in my area from all political parties.
Nothing though the door, no hustings. Nothing.
Why do we need them in the first place?
Why not spend their big salaries on putting more police on our streets and more PCSOs.
Thirdly, can I ask the re-elected PCC to investigate the 73 per cent increase in homophobic incidents in Oxfordshire.
This figure is very concerning and needs very urgent attention.
I look forward to hearing or reading how this issue will be investigated.
Many congratulations to Sadiq Khan’s victory as the new Labour Mayor of London. The Tory campaign in London was unbelievable.
