WHEN did the Oxford Mail decide that it was going to substitute incisive journalism for hagiography?

The interview by Matt Oliver of Sister Frances Dominica accepted without question her assertion that the Crown Prosecution Service decision not to prosecute for lack of evidence is synonymous with ‘no case to answer’.

It absolutely is not.

If the only way to clear her name was to go to trial, as she states, why was she “immensely relieved when I learned that it would not go to trial”?

The interview, and the rather sycophantic editorial, are yet another case of a public figure leveraging their influence and reputation to mask alleged wrongdoing; regrettably, the Oxford Mail has become a willing accomplice.
