I WOULD like to respond to Hojjat Ramzy’s outburst (Oxford Mail, January 27).

Surely as Sir Michael Wilshaw is chief inspector of schools he knows how to do his job.

Would Mr Ramzy take kindly to someone telling him how to run his mosque? I don’t think so.

With regard to wearing the veil, surely if it is not part of the school uniform then it should not be worn. No ifs, no buts.

Eye contact is important, but facial expressions tell a thousand tales.

With the veiled threat of students staying away from school or even leaving the UK, it’s their loss.
