NICHOLAS Mawer should be congratulated for actually being aware of how the majority of Bicester residents feel about the naming of Bicester Village Station, and snubbing the opening.

At last a councillor is actually doing the job he was elected to do, that is, representing us, the people of Bicester.

Chiltern Railways should make it public how many people were asked their views in their independent poll about the naming of the station. In your article they stated 49 per cent were in favour of a name change. Surely this means that 51 per cent were against it.
