THE attack on the pleasant ambience in Headington continues.

The proposed closure of the wonderful Post Office is a disastrous decision.

It is so conveniently placed in its central position facing the park and is ideal when combined with a quick shop. With little effort it can be reached by all, saving time, and ensuring the health of all who appreciate living in Headington.

Its beautiful frontage is charming and so traditional.

The useful closure of the shop next to it could offer the Post Office additional room for expansion so that we no longer have to queue in the rain when the shop is too busy to cope when there is high demand.

The efficient staff could have room for more staff at more counters.

Post Office work is demanding and the dedicated staff there at present do not need the distraction of being thrust amongst shoppers at the proposed new venue at the Headington Co-Op.
