It’s risky for children to play on farm machinery
THE Thame Show picture on page two of Friday’s Oxford Mail of a nine-year-old girl inside a tractor wheel rim must be set up.
It gives the wrong message to young people that it is OK to play around farm machinery.
More thought should have been given before taking this photo. It’s great that children are allowed to go into the cabs under supervision. I have first-hand knowledge of how dangerous farm machinery can be.
