WHEN are supermarkets’ greedy bosses going to get it into their heads that we have too many supermarkets in this country all selling (or not selling) the same merchandise?
The amount of reduced perishables with yellow stickers is unbelievable, ie out-of-date items. The wastage must be tremendous.
All the major supermarkets are finding profits are marginally down, surely this indicates something. Are Lidl and Aldi to blame?
Have we now reached a saturation point? What is the answer to all this? Perhaps it’s greedy shareholders.
