I WAS very disappointed to hear of the “temporary” closure of Wenrisc ward at Witney hospital.

I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage (when a brain aneurysm ruptures) in July 2012 and Witney Hospital played a huge part in my rehabilitation.

What really helped was the fact it was local which enabled me to come home from time to time.

The staff were fantastic; very patient, understanding and helped far more then just practically but emotionally too.

I really don’t think I would be in the place I and now if it wasn’t for them.
