Depriving hospital staff of parking is no solution
DEPRIVING hospital staff of their car spaces at the John Radcliffe Hospital (May 7) to make more car spaces for patients is not the solution in the long run.
The solution is to take the hospital out of Oxford, along the A40 between Eynsham and Witney, for example. The cost could be met by the sale of the present JR site.
Oxfordshire County Council waffling on about other alternatives that do not solve the problem would be laughable were it not so serious.
