Rest in peace: Former Labour councillor Val Smith who died last week
VAL SMITH will be sorely missed, both as a councillor and Andrew’s wife.
I knew Val in the late 60s when she was just a young northern girl at Oxford.
She was great fun and always sincere. She suffered tragedy early on but always kept cheerful. Val Smith you were a one-off. May you rest in peace.
