Tenants are penalised for striving to improve lives
I FULLY support David Cameron’s “right to buy” for housing association tenants. For a long time, housing associations have gleefully been banging up rents in many cases at the expense of the taxpayer.
Those tenants who strive to better themselves by earning more money are penalised, having to pay the full rent, preventing them from saving enough to get a mortgage.
Mr Cameron set the people free!
