AS from the first week of April, the number crunchers of Thames Valley Police have decided to make another saving by disbanding one of its most work efficient units, Specialist Search and Recovery Unit.

Their efficiency and professionalism is second to none.

In a force named after a river where people perish and evidence is cast into should tax payers be expected too wait until a hired unit attends from heaven knows where.

Can the police and crime commissioner or headquarters give a logical explanation?

I suspect it will not only cost more eventually and to lose one of the most efficient units.
