With austerity, how can the HS2 cost be justified?
In these days of austerity where there are cuts here, there and everywhere, how can we afford £50bn to spend on a HS2 rail link between London and the Midlands?
The Lords have said it cannot be justified and Ukip is against it.
The proposed route is already affecting people on our patch in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Surely the money could be spent more wisely.
