IT was surprising to see PM and Witney MP David Cameron get himself in a flap over the amount we owe the European Union.

It’s a pity that Mr Cameron has such a poor working relationship with our European partners that he can’t negotiate a decent settlement for Britain. I wonder now if he regrets wasting £100million on Police and Crime Commissioner elections that no one wanted and hardly anyone voted in.

He’s also wasted millions on badger culls which have failed to meet any of their strategic objectives and has done nothing to eradicate bovine TB in cattle.

He’s also wasted millions on a pointless reorganisation of the NHS which he promised he would never do and has done nothing to improve patient care. Indeed, it’s got considerably worse in the last four years.

Perhaps if he hadn’t wasted so much of our money then he would be able to pay our bills.
