I am not impressed with Witney Town Councillor David Snow’s recent comment. It was neither informative nor helpful, just attention-seeking.

For his information, an 82-year-old woman had an unfortunate accident; her head injuries were dangerous but alleviated by terrific local medics – all praise and thanks to them. Unfortunately, they had to block the road for a bit – sorry about that. If he really wanted to know what was happening – get off Twitter and stroll down to the town.

I would update him on her status – but he didn’t bother to ask.
