SITTING out early in my garden these beautiful mornings, I can hear the Birmingham to Marylebone trains thundering past and it made me wonder why anyone would want to go faster than that, bearing in mind the HS2. Surely if you order a full English breakfast on the Birmingham to Marylebone train now, you would not have time for the toast and marmalade.
Leave our countryside alone and put the money into improving health and education.
