Stadium rejection comment
CHERWELL District Council’s rejection of Oxfordshire County Council’s proposal to build a new football stadium on Green Belt land at Water Eaton is lukewarm to say the least.
No doubt they have one eye on the business rate revenue which would be generated by such a venture. Equally undoubtedly this incremental revenue would be spent in Bicester and Banbury, where most investment seems to end up.
