MORE smoke and mirrors from Mr Hudspeth, this time proposing trains, trams and transport 20 years hence.
No doubt soon he will be arranging more open meetings, surveys and consultations on other various daydreams.
Actions we see none – achievements ditto, except he and his colleagues losing us millions of pounds pursuing the crazy Cogges Link Road scheme which would have ruined one of the loveliest parts of Witney. The local community and the expensive public enquiry they insisted on, both, predictably, turned it down and told them to implement the better, less destructive and much cheaper Shores Green alternative and they agreed to do so.
True to form Mr Hudspeth is now equivocating about this.
Meanwhile the fast-growing Witney chokes with traffic and cyclists outpace the commuting cars to and from Oxford daily.
