I AM writing to express my great disappointment regarding some fans’ reaction to Dean Smalley being substituted on Saturday v Fleetwood Town.
We were all frustrated about the performance but to clap when one of your team’s players is replaced is totally uncalled for and shows total disrespect to the player and manager/coach.
We should be encouraging and getting behind the team. We all want the same thing, i.e. promotion but all need to be pulling in the same direction. So come on all you United fans, let’s get behind the team as we have for much of the season.
