SO David Cameron will give us a referendum on the EU membership if the Tories win the next election.
If they did, he would probably go back on his word.
Britain is right at rock bottom with its economy and the triple-dip recession has been on the cards for some time.
After two-and-a-half years of Conservative control, one would have expected a levelling of the economic disaster inherited from Labour if not a slight improvement, not a worsening.
We are now helping France in its fight against terrorism in Mali. How long before Cameron puts troops on the ground?
We just can’t afford the expense.
Many politicians want out of the EU, both Tories and Labour, and they should all be allowed to express their views freely in Parliament without fear of a slap on the wrist.
After all, we are supposed to be a democracy and allowed free speech. They are, after all, there to represent us.
