WRITE regarding the article about Hayley Townsend, the lady who blamed her sat nav system for sending her the wrong way down a street in London (Oxford Mail, March 4).

In reply to Alan Bourne’s letter in Tuesday’s Oxford Mail, I, like him, am not a theologian, nor a historian, but I do know enough about Lent and Easter to tell him that what he wrote is not accurate.

IT is Ralph Leavis’s prerogative to believe all the stories in the Bible, if he chooses to do so (Viewpoints, March 4), whereas I do not, and I find better things to do with my time than trawling through the scriptures to find support for my beliefs.
