Youngsters from the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Abingdon won eight titles at the North Oxford Junior Open.

Georgina Todd notched a double in the under 16 and 18 girls’ competitions, while Brad Marriott took the under 18 boys’ crown.

At under 14, Giles Waterson was the boys’ winner, and Alice Atkins took the honours in the girls’ competition.

Leo Winyard captured the boys’ under 9 title, with Raia Jagger coming up trumps in the girls’ event.

Luke Charlesworth completed the centre’s title haul with victory in the boys’ under 8 competition.

Former White Horse player Tim Maclarty, who is now at Millfield, claimed the under 16 boys’ title.

White Horse also had four players – Waterson, Charlie Naylor, Alexis Canter and Jagger – accepted into the main draw at the AEGON British Junior National Championships at Bournemouth.

Marriott, Naylor, Todd, Ben Smith, Patricia Valimaa and Ruby Grant also earned places in national qualifying events.
