TENNIS: Gosling retains crown

Bobby Gosling, from the host club. retained the under 16 title when Woodstock Bowls and Tennis Club hosted their five-day Bank Holiday Week junior tournament, sponsored by Henmans Solictors.

About 100 juniors from nine counties across the south of the country, took part in age ranges from under ten to under 18.

Another Oxfordshire winner was Edward Harris-Jones, who landed the under 14 boys’ title.

Tim Henman’s mother, Jane, presented the prizes WINNERS.

Under 12 – girls: Kelsey Mosquera; boys: Harrison Ridge. Under 14 – girls: Kelsey Mosquera; boys: Edward Harris-Jones. Under 16 – boys: Bobby Gosling. Under 18 – boys: Charlie Lane.

Tim Henman will be giving a clinic during a Festival of Tennis at Cranford House School, Moulsford, near Wallingford, this Saturday.
