Oxford Sports A took over at the top of the Wilson OLTA League Ladies Purple division after a 3-1 victory over previously-unbeaten Wantage.
Cressida Henderson and Caroline Good were unbeaten at first pair for Sports, with Dee Jones and Karen Doig claiming Wantage’s consolation.
In the Pink Division, Oxford Sports B were taken to three sets in three of the four rubbers against Abingdon B – but enjoyed a 4-0 win in anything but a one-sided match.
