Abingdon's Matilda Mutavdzic won her first LTA Grade 1 title with victory in the Nike Invitational Winter National Tour Finals at Roehampton.
Seeded No 2 in the 10 & under girls’ competition at the National Tennis Centre, Mutavdzic took the first set 4-0 in the final against Surrey’s Leah Gonzales-Edwards only to lose the second 4-2.
The match then went to a tie-break with Mutavdzic triumphing 11-9 to claim victory and end the winter season as Britain’s top 10 & under girl.
She had been in impressive form earlier in the competition, reaching the final without dropping a set.
In the semi-finals, she had eased past Kristina Paskauskaite 4-1, 4-1.

WANTAGE’S Will Robinson defeated top seed Archie Baker, from Gloucestershire, in an exciting 10 & under boys’ final in the Grade 5 tournament at St Hugh’s School, near Faringdon.
Robinson came out on top 5-4, taking victory 7-4 in the tie-break.
West Challow’s Susanna Wright reached the 10 & under girls’ final where she was beaten 4-0 by Middlesex’s Maria Privalova.
Didcot’s Simon Davies went down 3-7, 8-6, 7-3 to Caversham’s Charlie Charles in the 9 & under boys’ final.
The girls’ final was an all-Longworth affair with Sophia Rosenfeld beating St Hugh’s schoolmate Katie Baker 7-4, 4-7, 11-9.
