In the boys tournament, Douglas Baird (Oxford) beat John Cairns (Appleton) 10-7, with Mario Acevedo (Oxford) winning the consolation.

Meanwhile, North Oxford defeated Oxford City 8-0 to top the Premier Division of the Thames Valley Winter League.

However, they are being closely tracked by current champions Oxford Sports who also won 8-0, against Virgin Active.

The two sides are scheduled to meet each other in February in what is already looking to be a title decider.
