BROTHERS Rob and Jon Loosemore won all four of their sets for Virgin Active at Bicester in the Thames Valley Winter League Men’s Premier Division – but it was only enough to earn a 4-4 draw.
Benson’s 5-3 home win against Oxford Sports leapfrogs them above their rivals into second place in Division 1.
It also closes the gap on leaders Wantage, who were held to a 4-4 draw at home against Witney B.
Cholsey were unable to stop Brackley going top of Ladies’ Division 1 as they slumped to a 7-1 home defeat.
Ariadne Katsoulis and Lucy Horbatowski maintained their record of having won all their sets this season.
Previous leaders Woodstock lost 6-2 at Portcullis, who move up to third.
