CONNOR Ferguson, from Drayton, made it into the top 100 of English age group rankings after reaching the last 16 of the National 12 & under tournament in Bath.

The new Oxfordshire No 1 beat the fourth seed Tom Bachelor 6-4, 6-4 before losing in the last 16 to Toby Samuel, also by a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline.

Amelia Efthimiou (White Horse) won the Grade 4 tournament at Oxford Sports to move up to fifth in the Oxon 14 & under rankings.

Bobby Hornby won the nine & under boys event at Oxford Sports, coming back from losing 11-9 in the first set to win the next two 7-1, 7-1.

Toby Ayres took the boys’ 12 & under title at his home club with a 4-2, 4-0 win over Lucas Harrison.

Josh Ridley defeated Dan Taylor (both Oxford Sports) in the 18 & under final.

Laila Zugic reached the 12 & under semi-finals at the Grade 3 event in Gloucester.
