BANBURY produced a brilliant performance to run in 11 tries and beat struggling Swindon 73-0 at home.

Joe Mills crossed for a hat-trick, with Tommy Gray diving over twice, as play-off pushing Bulls recorded a 13th consecutive victory.

Banbury opened the scoring in the South West 1 East clash on three minutes when Gray broke two tackles.

Matt Goode soon went over, before Gray crossed for a brilliant solo try to make it 21-0.

Jimmy Manley also got in on the act and Mills scored out wide to put Bulls 35 points in front at the break.

Joe Winpenny drove over for try No 6 and, with Conall Knott in the sin-bin for Swindon, Mills crossed for his second to make it 47-0.

Their dominance continued with Matt Brock, Chris Phillips, and Ian Isham also touching down.

Bulls still had time for one last try, Mills collecting an Ed Phillips cross-field kick before racing over to complete his hat-trick.

Ed Phillips added his ninth conversion.

Grove are on the brink of relegation after falling to a 22-10 defeat at home to county rivals Oxford Harlequins.

The defeat leaves the south Oxfordshire side 16 points adrift with four games remaining.

Charlie Craig (2), Charlie Ward and Martin Nutt dived over for Quins, with Huw Dimond converting once.

Connor Hull crossed for Grove, with Dave Maryon kicking a conversion and penalty.

Witney drew 17-17 at home with Old Centralians.

Captain Gareth Campbell touched down near the posts, Matt Clarke adding the extras, to put the home side in front.

The visitors hit back when Bob Sully crossed out wide for an unconverted try.

A Clarke penalty made it 10-5 to Witney, but winger Rhys Morgan was yellow-carded for the home side and after three scrums, Centralians were awarded a penalty try on 24 minutes.

The visitors then led 17-10 at half-time when Sully went over for his second.

Witney levelled five minutes after the break as Jack Birks crossed and Clarke converted.

The visitors missed a penalty but, despite late pressure from the hosts, neither side was able to score again.

Relegated Bicester were beaten 43-10 at home by Salisbury.

The visitors took control early on, with two tries from Oliver Bowden, Jack Sheldrake converting the second.

It was soon 17-0 when Dan Hammond dived over.

Bicester bounced back as George Withers stretched over in the corner and Charlie Bethell added the extras.

Bethell then kicked a penalty as the hosts reduced the deficit to seven points at half-time.

However, Salisbury hit back and Chris Beaumont rampaged over, before Joshua Green dotted down, Sheldrake converting the second.

Tries from John Goldsmith and Hammond, Sheldrake adding the extras, completed the scoring.
