STEWART Beale scored 23 points with a hat-trick of tries and four conversions as Littlemore beat visitors Abingdon 48-7 in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier.

Aaron Ward, Rich Tattersall, Jamie Kirkaldy, Dan Turner and Luke Ward also scored tries for the second-placed hosts, who led 12-0 at half-time.

Wheatley secured a comfortable 29-5 victory at home to Bletchley.

Iain Downer, Joe Taylor, Aaron Laman and Alex Gabbidon touched down as Wheatley secured a bonus point in the first encounter between the clubs.

Laman added a penalty and three conversions.

Oxford continued to march on at the top of the BB&O Championship, with a 26-8 success at home to a determined Harwell, but had to wait until the last move of the game to secure their four-try bonus.

With Oxford still leading by their half-time score of 21-8, elusive wing Ali Gibb completed his hat-trick of tries with an amazing individual score.

Oxford’s other try came from Josh Jelfs, while Thom Murtons added three conversions.

Connor Morrison scored Harwell’s try, with Diego Alba Venero adding a penalty.

Chipping Norton went down 32-12 away to Aldermaston.

Walllingford ended the calender year on a high with a 34-27 home win over Reading Abbey.
