CHINNOR recovered from a five-point deficit at half-time to beat Barnes 35-25 and record back-to-back home victories.
Tom O’Toole’s penalty got the visitors up and running in the National League 2 South encounter, but the hosts stormed into a 15-3 lead after 31 minutes, with Darren Oliver, Greg Goodfellow and Ben Manning crossing.
Barnes responded with three tries of their own to lead 20-15 at the break, Edouard Alterac, Chris Lewis and O’Toole, who converted his own try, going over.
Chinnor re-took the lead with Oscar Heath’s converted score, before Matthew Cornish replied with a try.
But two Bertie Hopkin penalties and a Jack Adams converted try saw them home.
In National League 1, Henley Hawks suffered a seventh defeat in a row as they lost 39-5 at home to Esher.
It was 20-0 at half-time, with two tries from Andrew Garner and one for Paul Roberts, who kicked a penalty and a conversion.
Andrew Wright and Oliver Marriott then went over, Roberts converting, for 34-0.
But Hawks got off the mark when Connor Murphy crossed on 70 minutes.
Esher’s Joseph Brown added to Henley’s misery, who had Curtis Langdon and Tom Hall sin-binned in the closing stages.
