BICESTER secured promotion to Division 1 of the Oxon, Berks & Bucks Colts League after a 24-19 victory at Bracknell.
Centre Charlie Nohre’s last-minute try sealed a bonus-point win, which guaranteed Bicester second place.
Flanker Jack Horwod opened the scoring for Bicester with a try, converted by scrum half Duncan Reynolds.
Bracknell drove lock Ryan Noakes over the line, fly half Louis Marshall converting.
Marshall’s interception score made it 12-7, but Bicester centre Matt Duncalf replied with a try converted by wing Harry Gaunt.
Try No 3 from fly half James Dunhill put Bicester 19-12 ahead before Bracknell ran in an interception effort from wing Josh Webb.
That set up a grandstand finish for Nohre to win it.
Leadbitter Oxford Academy saw their Division 1 title hopes ended by a 17-14 home defeat to Redingensians.
With eventual champions Amersham & Chiltermn losing 30-17 at Maidenhead Colts, any sort of win would have been enough for Oxford.
