OXFORDSHIRE’S Joshua Poole has been named in the England Under 16 squad for two internationals in April.
The Cokethorpe School and London Wasps Academy flanker (pictured) is part of a 22-man squad to face Italy Under 17 at Macclesfield on April 20 and Wales Under 16 at Fylde on April 24.
He and his teammates warm up for those clashes with a ma-tch against Leicester Academy Under 17s at Cokethorpe on Sunday.
England have also named two squads, Reds and Blues, to compete in the Wellington Festival at Wellington College, Berkshire from April 16 to 22.
Oxfordshire’s Thomas Kynge (Abingdon School, Wallingford and London Wasps Academy) is in the Reds squad, while county teammate Peter Moore (Abingdon School) is in the Blues ranks.
