Grove fought back from 12-0 down to defeat Tadley 30-12 at Cane Lane.

Two tries and a conversion gave the visitors a 12-0 lead and they were also held up twice on the home line.

Grove recovered and went close through wing Harry Carr and full back Chris Clare.

Hooker Jon North’s try began the comeback before the break and scrum half Roger Sevier added a penalty soon after the resumption.

Centre Joe Bellinger touched down Grove’s second try and Roger Sevier converted for 15-12.

Fine handling saw flanker Guy Nicholl go over in the corner.

Then captain Nick Sevier bagged try No 4 after an amazing solo run, which took him the full length of the field.

His brother Roger converted and added a late penalty from wide on the halfway line after home prop Tim Lane had been sin-binned.

Oxford were punished for some poor kicks and handling errors in a 29-3 defeat at Aylesbury.

The visitors blasted out of the blocks and went ahead with a Dom Coe penalty.

A second Coe effort hit a post, but Oxford were held up from the rebound.

Aylesbury, however, hit back with five tries and two conversions to control the game.

Basement boys Chipping Norton were battered 44-0 at Windsor.
