Will Johnson made his international debut for USA in their 27-10 defeat to Ireland.
The 25-year-old Oxford University prop could only make the bench for Oxford Harlequins in the Oxfordshire Cup final – and was then sent off.
But he started at tight-head in Sunday’s Test match at Buck Shaw Stadium, Santa Clara, California, just two days after his 25th birthday.
