SECOND row Andrew Faulkner scored a hat-trick of tries as Bicester ran riot in beating Bletchley 98-0 at home.

The Southern Counties North high-fliers scored 15 tries, ten converted, in the rout.

A scintillating display of running rugby saw Bicester lead 53-0 at the break.

Faulkner completed his hat-trick in the first half, while Dan Spencer (2), Tom Miles, Tevita Naleca and Dave Lawther crossed.

Miles added 13 points with the boot.

The rout continued after the break as Naleca went over again.

He was joined on the scoresheet by Charlie Bethell (2), Peter Tarrega, George Upton, Dave Hampton and Francois Weise.

Mills converted three tries, with Spencer on target on two occasions.

Wallingford ended a run of four-straight defeats, when beating Milton Keynes 44-3.

Tries from Sam Clarkson (2) and Max Hewitt earned the south Oxfordshire side a 17-3 half-time lead.

Sam Tokelove’s score secured Wallingford the bonus point, before Bart Foster crossed to make it 29-3.

Tokelove dived over again, while tries from Phil Dawes and Ian Jeffreys completed the victory.

Dawes converted two of the tries.

A much-changed Gosford All Blacks lost 45-0 at Aylesbury.

The visitors failed to adapt to the 4G surface and trailed 24-0 at the break, thanks to two tries apiece from Andy Hackett and Nicky Mercer.

Gosford were often better in the set-piece, but Mercer went on to score two further tries and make it 38-0.

Rob Taylor’s individual effort completed the scoring.

Dave Shaw converted five of the tries.
