CHINNOR Under 15s emerged victorious from the Tigers Challenge Rugby Festival in Minehead after a 5-0 victory over Pontypridd in the final.

Head coach Bryan Morgan’s side clinched the trophy after going the entire tournament unbeaten.

They topped their group after beating Shrewsbury 5-0, Brixham 30-0 and drawing 5-5 with Lutterworth.

Chinnor faced Abergavenney in the last four and advanced to the final with a 15-0 win.

They were presented with the trophy by former England and Leicester Tigers player George Chuter.

Morgan said: “We had a fantastic time away on tour.

BANBURY’S Under 12s side ended their season on a high note with a 25-0 win against Abingdon at Lambrick Way.

A 10-0 victory in the first match was followed by a 15-0 triumph in the second.

Owen Michael and Nathan Booth scored Banbury’s tries in the opening game.

In the second, Booth crossed again before Ruben Hammond scored and Harvey Jones drove over.
