HENLEY Hawks must enjoy the occasion of being officially crowned National League 2 South champions at Dry Leas tomorrow, says head coach Pete Davies.
Hawks face play-off chasing Dorking and will be presented with the league trophy after the match.
Davies’ side won the league four weeks ago and are 12 points ahead of second-placed Bishop’s Stortford ahead of this weekend.
While winning the season finale would be nice, Davies wants his players to bask in the glory of making an instant return to National League 1 after their relegation last year.
“We want the boys to enjoy the game and the occasion,” said Davies.
“We have worked hard and we made a promise, regardless of the result, to soak up the atmosphere.”

Davies also revealed full back Elliott Cox and lock Charlie Davey have agreed terms with the club.
Hawks make five changes from the side that were beaten at home by Worthing last Saturday.
Tom Allen reverts to full back and James Comben returns to fly half.
Hooker Stuart Philpott replaces Nathan Taylor, while prop Dave Manning is in for Tim Coghlan.
Matt Payne starts as Tom Hall drops to the bench.
TOMORROW’S TEAM
