NATIONAL 3 SOUTH WEST

ZAC Norris’s three-try salvo fired Oxford Harlequins to a 46-13 home victory over Bournemouth on their return to the division.

Fly half Norris led the way in Quins’ six-try spree, with full back Jack Robinson bagging a brace and No 8 Seisoni Tupou also crossing.

Tupou powered over for the opening try, converted by Norris, who then added a penalty.

Bournemouth fly-half Richard McCartney replied in kind before Tupou gave Robinson a scoring pass 25 metres out.

Norris converted this and his own first try from a 70-metre move.

Bournemouth, who were much changed from the side relegated from National 2 South, hit back with a try from hooker Riat Lynch, but Norris scored and converted another long-range effort before half-time.

Norris completed his hat-trick on 42 minutes and added the conversion.

Replacement James Graesser scored with his first touch for Bournemouth, but Norris’s second penalty made it 39-16.

Robinson’s second, again after a long-range move, plus Norris’s conversion, completed the scoring on 65 minutes.
