OXFORD Rugby League must improve if they are to make it three Kingstone Press Championship One wins in a row at Oldham on Sunday.

That is the message from head coach Tony Benson as his fifth-placed side face the Roughyeds, who are third.

“They are a very good team and we will have to step it up another level to be competitive with them,” he said.

Oxford have seen off York City Knights and the University of Gloucestershire All Golds in their last two matches, but Oldham are unbeaten at Whitebank this season.

Valu Bentley (ankle) faces a fitness test, while Andrew Hoggins is back in contention after missing two games with personal commitments.

Glenn Osborn (hamstring) is out after picking up the injury for Oxford Cavaliers against Leicester Storm.
